The ABSW endeavors to provide the following services to individuals and the community:
COUNSELING – ABSW members provide individual, couple, family, or group counseling as requested.
COMMUNITY CAPACITY BUILDING – ABSW will network with, support, and advise social service agencies serving African Nova Scotians. If you are experiencing a social problem, and you are unsure where to go, call ABSW.
PUBLIC EDUCATION – Through conferences and workshops, ABSW seeks to educate the public on matters affecting the Black family and communities.
